CHALLENGE
An Australian meat processor with community odour complaints, pond scum and water quality issues. Daily flow of approximately 1ML per day.
RESULTS
After 1 month odour was longer coming from the anaerobic or aerobic ponds. The site was odour free. Between the 1st and 2nd month almost all surface scum was gone. After 5 months, water tests showed reductions of 35% BOD, 39% COD and 68% TSS.
